Abstract

Being able to measure temperature directly in bony tissue would be a tremendous advancement for transcranial FUS procedures and for FUS treatment of metastatic bone tumors. Successful completion of these aims will provide viable and useful MR tools for bone thermometry in vivo and will set the stage for subsequent clinical application in human subjects.
