Winter School

The Winter School on Therapeutic Ultrasound
March 8-13

The French Alps provide a picturesque backdrop for the Winter School on Therapeutic Ultrasound 2015. Taking place March 8-13 in Les Houches, France, the Winter School will explore the emerging field of therapeutic ultrasound. Topics will range from an introduction to physics and biophysics through clinical applications.

April 15-18

 

Marking its 15th year, the International Symposium on Therapeutic Ultrasound will convene April 15-18 in the historic center of Utrecht, the Netherlands.

Hosted by the International Society for Therapeutic Ultrasound (ISTU), the meeting is a primary forum for basic scientists, clinicians, students, and professionals in the field of therapeutic ultrasound. Its dual-track schedule will incorporate plenary lectures, 13 oral scientific sessions, and two poster sessions.

October 15-16

 

The European Focused Ultrasound Charitable Society will host its 3rd European Symposium on Focused Ultrasound Therapy, October 15-16 at the historic Royal Geographical Society in central London. 

Organized by Prof. Wladyslaw Gedroyc, Dr. Alessandro Napoli, and Prof. Andreas Melzer, the meeting will intertwine scientific presentations with invited lectures on technical, preclinical, and clinical applications of FUS. The program will focus on practical teaching on how to carry out FUS procedures supported by clinical case by case based decision learning.
