In April, Meredith Woo, PhD, will become the 13th president of Sweet Briar College, a women’s college near Lynchburg, Virginia.
Dr. Woo will draw on her six years of experience as Dean of the College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences at the University of Virginia. In 2014, she left UVA for London where she was the director of the Higher Education Support Program for the Open Society Foundations.
She joined the Foundation’s Council in 2014 and has been a great asset in helping to spread our message abroad.
