Meeting Report: 7th Emirates International Neurosurgical Conference

The 7th Emirates International Neurosurgical Conference took place in Dubai, UAE, from December 12–14, 2019. The program included two focused ultrasound presentations by faculty from the University of Palermo in Sicily, Italy, providing two-year follow-up data on patients with essential tremor or Parkinson’s disease who underwent focused ultrasound treatment.

“My talk in Dubai was very much appreciated and generated a high level of interest in focused ultrasound as a technology,” said Professor Gerardo Iacopino. “After my presentation, I received many questions from the audience, and Dr. Mohamed Al Olama, the President of the conference, was enthusiastic.”
